We Are in the Midst of an Education Revolution

The education world is changing: homeschooling is getting more popular, there are tutors helping students over the internet and online education has become mainstream, our president is making changes to public schools, and so much more is happening. As veteran homeschoolers, we are excited to see so many new improvements to the education system and school choice options. We invite you to read some of the articles to find out more about the many education changes, but also to encourage you to get involved to help protect and preserve education freedom for generations to come.

Homeschooling Has Become More Popular

Homeschooling has been around for hundreds of years. It is older than the public school system we know today. However, recently it has gotten very popular, not only as a result of Covid but also because it made parents aware of what teachers and schools were not doing.

Families are becoming aware of the benefits and freedoms that homeschoolers enjoy, and so many more families are choosing to homeschool as a result. Such benefits include:

• Freedom to choose your own teachers

• "Freedom of association": to chose your friends. No bullies or bad influences.

• Freedom to make your own schedule; you can sleep in and go on vacation off season.

• Freedom to choose a curriculum free of CRT, woke ideologies, common core math nonsense, and other unnecessary junk about climate change and saving the planet.

  
  

Homeschooling is also a way to escape the horrors of public schools including "R" rated curriculum, medical tyranny, criminal teachers and violence.

They are Rolling out New Laws Designed to Regulate Homeschooling

Homeschool legistlation is nothing new. Every state has their own homeschool laws and just like any state law, they range from being free and relaxed to tyrannical. We have seen an influx of states changing homeschool legislation over the past few years as homeschooling has become more popular.

More recently, however our communities are fighting back! While some laws have passed, some have been successfully stopped by homeschoolers and neighbors standing up for education freedom.

Some bills are good bills we hope to pass and some are dangerous and need to be aborted. If your state has a school choice bill out, there is likely homeschool groups organizing practical ways to get involved.

This is a cultural shift away from the past. The education revolution is more than just homeschooling. It is about families getting off the conveyer belt of the public education system. Parents go through so much effort to build their families, only to hand over their children to a heartless factory-like public school system that produces illiterate, dysfunctional, apathetic, or un-hireable young adults whom may do enormous damage to society when they enter the real world.
